FAQs

How long do sessions last?

My sessions usually last 1.5-2 hours.  Newborn sessions can be longer.

How far in advance do you book?

I usually book 4-6 weeks in advance.

How far in advance do you book a newborn session?

If you let me know as soon as you can, I can plan ahead and leave a window open around your due date.  Of course, babies don’t usually arrive on time, sometimes early, sometimes late, so I always keep in close contact with moms towards the end of the pregnancy!

Do you offer digital files?

Yes, I do offer digital files and a CD of the entire session.  However, one of the things I love about what I do is seeing what my images will look like on my client’s walls!

How far do you travel?

I am not able to travel too far from the surrounding area at this time.  Sometimes exceptions will be made!  Travel fees apply for locations that are further, contact me for more information.

What do you recommend to wear?

I am willing to help however I can.  Everyone should be comfortable and wear clothing that shows their own style.  I recommend coordinating, not matching.  I am currently working on a “what to wear” guide and hope to share suggestions for each season soon!

How long does it take to get my pictures back?

It really depends on the time of year.  I like to show a sneak peek to all clients on my blog and facebook within 2-3 days.  The sneak peek will have a few pictures from the session.  Your full gallery of proofs will be available usually in 3-4 weeks.  Once you place your order, you should receive your prints in about 2 weeks.

Do you offer holiday cards or birth announcements?

Yes, all custom designed!

Where will the session be?

I have several locations in the area that I love but I am always open to new ideas!  Once we book your session, we can talk about the feel you want for your images and go from there!  Newborn sessions take place at your house!

Do you photograph weddings?

At this time no.  I focus mainly on children and families.  I also offer engagement and  senior portraits.

When is the best time to schedule a newborn session?

Newborn sessions should be scheduled within the first 2 weeks of life.  They are the sleepiest then and easiest to put in those cute adorable poses.

Do you photograph events?

At this time I do not.
